Why You Need to Attend This Year’s Hillberry Harvest Moon Festival

Eureka Springs is a town that is known for its thriving arts culture, and music is a large part of that. Throughout the year, many festivals and concerts happen here, but one of the most popular is the Hillberry Festival. Learn more about this festival below!

The Hillberry Harvest Moon Festival

Each year in Eureka Springs, the harvest moon is celebrated with the Hillberry Festival. The large festival is recognized as one of the top Bluegrass Festivals in the Midwest, and it draws thousands of people each year. It takes place on The Farm, a 160-acre campground and events center nestled in Eureka Springs.

Its location in the Ozark Mountains enjoys 360-degree panoramic views, and the Mark Twain National Forest, Beaver Lake, Table Rock Lake, and the White River are all nearby. What better place to join in the celebrations of the harvest moon than one so close to and entirely surrounded by nature?

October 10th-13th, 2019 marks the 6th installment of the event, and plans are underway for it to be just as memorable as in past years. The music lineup is to be announced as the event gets closer, so be sure to check the Hillberry Festival’s website for updates!

However, you can expect there to be live music on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and you can buy tickets for anywhere from one day to all of the days. RVs and camping are allowed, but be sure to check on the requirements for each and be aware of what you’ll need to bring with you.

Food and craft vendors will be on site, and both food and water will be available for purchase at the store. There will also be a beer tent, though you can also bring your own alcohol. This event is rain or shine, so you don’t have to worry about getting excited for the event, only for the weather to dash your hopes!

Other Ways to Enjoy Music in Eureka Springs

In addition to the Hillberry Festival, there are several other festivals, including music festivals, that take place in Eureka Springs throughout the year. There are also many excellent places to enjoy live music in town, whether it’s at Basin Spring Park or a restaurant or bar downtown.
