Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, Choose One Eureka Springs Festival or Them All!

IN THE WINTER

The Ozark Mountain Music Festival, OzMoMu for short, is an indoor music festival that marries bluegrass, folk, and other American roots music. While these music genres have their own respective celebrations throughout the year, this festival has it all. The annual event takes place during mid-January in the heart of downtown Eureka Springs at the Basin Park Hotel. To find out more about their headliners’ backgrounds, styles, and to get your ticket, check out the festival’s website.

AS THE WEATHER WARMS UP

Out in Eureka, a Eureka Springs LGBTQ organization is hosting Spring Diversity Weekend from April 4 – 7, 2019. The city is known for being inclusive and hosts three diversity weekends per year. There’s no better time to embrace and celebrate inclusion, though, than when the weather warms up. Visitors can walk the streets of a decorated downtown or shop a variety of pride-themed products. The Gayly, a CNN-affiliated news outlet that covers LGBTQ news, even featured the festival. “With a domestic partner registry, Three Diversity Weekends a year, more than 50 gay-owned/friendly businesses, and a “laissez-faire” feel, Eureka Springs is truly a premier vacation destination for the LGBT community.”

IN THE SUMMER HEAT

The Eureka Springs Blues Festival is perfect for dedicated blues music fans and families alike! The weekend-long festival not only features performances by some of the most famous blues artists, but also offers food, drinks, and local vendors for a fun-filled festival. The event also aides local charities. Plan your Eureka Springs getaway around this event if you love blues music, cold beverages, and contributing to a good cause.

F IS FOR FALL AND FOLK MUSIC

This year marks the 72nd Eureka Springs Fall Festival. This festival is a weekend-long escape from reality that allows attendees to sing, dance, and appreciate folk music. The festival, held in Basin Spring Park, also has a particular charm because it’s the longest running festival of its kind in the U.S. This year, the event is scheduled from Nov. 9 – 11, with Funky Feat headlining. Visit the website for a full schedule of the festival’s events.
