What Is the Antique Festival of the Ozarks?
Antique dealers from across the Midwest gather with their quality goods to create the Antique Festival of the Ozarks. The festival happens in two locations: in Springfield, MO in October and in Eureka Springs, AR in November. This is a particularly beautiful time of year to visit, as the changing colors of the fall foliage tend to reach their peak between late October and early November.
At the Antique Festival of the Ozarks in Springfield, there will be over 100 antique dealers from 15 different states. The E-Plex East and West Halls of the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds will fill with an array of exquisite antiques, including furniture, books, art, jewelry, and much more.
The weekend in Eureka Springs kicks off at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks with a wine and cheese event on Friday at 5 p.m. and continues on Saturday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. One ticket gets you admission for any of the days. Browse the vendor’s tables for vintage and antique items, and you’ll discover treasures from far and wide. There will be a diverse range of offerings, some of which are related to Arkansas and the Ozarks.
You can rest assured that the antiques you will find here are authentic, as the Heritage Event Company arranges the festival. The company first started when founders Scott and Gail Kinney decided to start their own quality antique show in Oklahoma, given the regional lack of such shows. They have since expanded and have events in eight more states, which is a testament to the quality of the shows.
